Opinions remain divided about Colin Kaepernick’s National Anthem protest, and the movement it has started to spawn. But in Oakland, someone offered up support in the form of a pretty awesome mural. Pendarvis Harshaw was walking through downtown Oakland when he came across a mural from an unknown artist.
Support for Colin Kaepernick has grown, and we have seen numerous people wearing his jersey in public settings. I have even seen Raiders fans say they would consider wearing his jersey. Considering the 49ers-Raiders fan rivalry, that’s saying something in a big way.
We have no idea whether or not the artist is a Raiders fan, or even a football fan. This transcends football in a big way, and this kind of thing reflects that. Here’s a picture of the mural. Below this one is a color version.
