Los Angeles Dodgers announcer Vin Scully is wrapping up his amazing career this weekend in San Francisco as his Dodgers take on the Giants. The Giants are fighting for a wild card spot, so it is fitting the regular season and Scully’s career come down to the Giants on the final weekend.
It is also fitting it is in San Francisco the same weekend the San Francisco 49ers host the Dallas Cowboys. Scully is a renowned baseball announcer, but one of his most famous calls came outside of baseball. Scully did football play-by-play for a time, and he was on the call for CBS when Joe Montana connected with Dwight Clark against the Cowboys for the most famous catch in 49ers history.
