49ers-Seahawks Week 17 inactive report: Joe Staley active, Andrew Gardner lining up at LG

New, comments

More change on the offensive line as a realist of Martin going on IR, who is active at RB?

The final match up for the San Francisco 49ers will again show a different lineup for the offensive line and a new face at running back. The team ruled out Marcus Martin and Andrew Tiller, and placed Carlos Hyde on injured reserve. However, the team does welcome back left tackle Joe Staley from a hamstring injury.

Staley’s return means he and Trent Brown will book-end the line. Zane Beadles is going to play center once again, and Andrew Gardner has been announced as the starting left guard. The 49ers signed Gardner on December 21.

One bit of good news is that Rashard Robinson is active. He was healthy entering the week, but then was listed as limited on Friday with a hamstring injury. He will start opposite Tramaine Brock and get one last bit of run as he looks to build toward an even better sophomore season.

49ers inactives: QB Blaine Gabbert, RB Mike Davis, CB Prince Charles Iworah, OG Andrew Tiller, OLB Tank Carradine, DT Tony Jerod-Eddie, DL Zach Moore

Seahawks inactives: RB C.J. Prosise, RB Terrence Magee, SS Tyvis Powell, LB Ronald Powell, OT Bradley Sowell, TE Nick Vannett, DT John Jenkins
