It’s a rough time of year to be a 49er fan, that much is certain. The best we can do is sit back and watch the search for a total rebuild of the organization - and hope that the pieces fit together. Unfortunately, we’re faced with the unorthodox situation of a non-football type making the simultaneous calls on General Manager and Head Coach, which allows us to sit helplessly captivated, hoping that we do not enter another Baalke/Harbaugh quagmire.
The 49ers-related news these days is sporadic and generally uneventful, considering the looming franchise-changing decisions to be made. In advance, I’d like to apologize for the scarcity of information listed below, but it’s clear that we’re in the proverbial “calm before the storm” vis a vis upcoming hires.
With that in mind, on to the distractions from upcoming important news nuggets!
