The head coach and general manager search is on, and it is no surprise that the San Francisco 49ers are likely putting together extensive lists for both jobs. Josh McDaniels is reportedly set to interview this week, and now Matt Maiocco has a longer list of names. On the head coach side, Maiocco offered this:

On the GM side, we have heard most of these names already over the last 24 hours. On the coaching side, those are all names of coaches that will likely get interview opportunities around the NFL. There are currently six head coach openings, with the chance for more to emerge in the next 24 hours.
We will hear a lot of names thrown around this week and potentially into next week. It will be interesting to track all the names mentioned, but the initial and follow-up interviews will be the real meat and potatoes of this process.
