49ers head coach odds: Who do oddsmakers see as the favorite?

Josh McDaniels is the favorite, and it does include David Shaw as a long shot.

The San Francisco 49ers are beginning the search process for a head coach and a general manager. Jed York does not know which role will be filled first, contending he wants to be flexible in the potential organizational structure. And so, we are hearing rumors of interviews planned for both coach and GM candidates.

The folks at bookmaker.eu have opened up betting on the next 49ers head coach. They asked who will be the head coach when Week 1 of the 2017 NFL season arrives. They installed Josh McDaniels as the favorite, with Kyle Shanahan and Vance Joseph following. The 49ers have already requested interviews with McDaniels and Shanahan. They will add more in the coming days.

Here is the full list of odds for the time being. As names are added and removed from the list, we’ll update.
