The San Francisco 49ers decided to fire general manager Trent Baalke earlier this month following a 2-14 season, and it would appear Baalke is preparing for the next phase of his life. According to the Los Angeles Times, Baalke has placed his San Jose home on the market. The RedFin listing for the home is here.
Baalke and his family purchased the home in 2013, when it was first built, for $2.55 million. They are now asking $3.298 million for the home. It is 5,383 square feet, with four bedrooms and 4.5 baths. It is part of the “Custom Country Club Estate” and overlooks the 3rd green, and more importantly, has a kegerator in the back yard.
We have not heard much about Baalke over the past month, but prior to getting fired, there was a report he could end up with the Denver Broncos. He is not originally from the Bay Area, so selling his home does not necessarily mean he has a new job lined up. He’ll be getting paid by Jed York for a couple more years now, so he could relocate to be closer to family. Or maybe he does end up with a new job sooner rather than later and relocates for that.
