Pro Bowl 2017: Game time, TV schedule, live online stream for a 49ers-less affair

New, comments

It’s Pro Bowl day. Try not to get too excited.

Welcome to the Pro Bowl. The San Francisco 49ers do not have any participants in the game, and I am kind of glad. I certainly like seeing players get recognized, but this removes any shred of need to watch this game. I’m currently cooking this for dinner, and I’m thinking I’ll eat that and watch something else entirely for the game.

I will not begrudge those of you who choose to watch the game. It can actually be fun at times. But it’s hard for me to get excited about the end of the season All Star Game. I realize they can’t have the NFL’s game during the regular season, but I do enjoy the other three sports considerably more in part because of that. But also, the NFL has adjusted rules and they don’t always take full advantage of the fun opportunities they could potentially get out the Pro Bowl. Such is life.

If you’re watching, enjoy! If you’re not watching, what are you doing instead?
