You just have to laugh. San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York spoke to the media about his choice to remove both GM Trent Baalke and head coach Chip Kelly from their positions and he spoke, a little bit, about creating a “championship culture.” KNBR did us all the favor of editing a medley of the 16 times York said the word culture. Reveling in USC’s amazing Rose Bowl victory, I happened to catch it first on Sports Center, but KNBR had the idea ifrst.
Jed York really, really wants to reestablish a championship culture with the San Francisco 49ers. Really. pic.twitter.com/YxfOaN8lY2

York always has a key phrase when he heads into one of these press conferences. Former favorites have been: “Hanging championship banners,” “Winning with class,” and “Hold me accountable.”
