The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals released their inactives for Week 4, and Carlos Hyde is active. The 49ers listed Hyde as questionable with a hip injury, but after a pre-game workout, they decided he is good to go. I still think Matt Breida gets more touches this week than to date, but Hyde will be the starter.
As expected, Eric Reid and Reuben Foster are inactive. Foster could be back as soon as this coming week, while Reid is likely at least a game or two away. Other than that, the 49ers are mostly healthy this week.
The Cardinals are in a tough spot on the left side of their offensive line. They placed left guard Mike Iupati on injured reserve earlier this week, and have deactivated left guard Alex Boone and left tackle D.J. Humphries. If the 49ers cannot take advantage of this situation, I don’t really know what else to do.
49ers inactives: WR Kendrick Berne, CB Ahkello Witherspoon, S Eric Reid, LB Mark Nzeocha, LB Pita Taumoepenu, LB Reuben Foster, OL Erik Magnuson
Cardinals inactives: QB Blaine Gabbert, WR Chad Williams, CB Tramon Williams, RB D.J. Foster, OT D.J. Humphries, OG Alex Boone, DL Robert Nkemdiche
