The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice as they continue preparations for their Week 6 matchup with Washington. The 49ers sit at 0-5, and continue to look for their first win under head coach Kyle Shanahan. This game also provides a chance for Shanahan to face off again his old quarterback, Kirk Cousins.
The media day actually got started earlier Wednesday with Jay Gruden and Kirk Cousins conducting a conference call with 49ers media. Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media at 12:25 p.m. PT. Following Shanahan’s press conference, the 49ers locker room will be open until 1:15, with quarterback Brian Hoyer meeting with the media. Practice gets going at 1:25, with it open to the media until team drills begin. The first practice participation report will be released later in the afternoon.
The 49ers will stream Shanahan’s press conference on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from Shanahan’s session and those of the players. I’ve embedded our 49ers beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. If you don’t see it, click here.
