The San Francisco 49ers returned to practice on Wednesday, and we have some good news to report. Linebacker Reuben Foster and safety Eric Reid both returned to the practice field for the first time since their respective injuries. In case you’re wondering what he’s up to, Foster continues to enjoy his dancing, and is looked pretty good in early work. Here are two videos.

The 49ers welcomed back Foster and Reid in limited form. They’re still questionable to play this weekend, but this is a big step forward for them. They join a long list of players dealing with various bumps and bruises. It’s good to see Ahkello Witherspoon listed as limited, as that suggests he is progressing through the concussion protocol.
The 49ers return to practice Thursday afternoon, and that will give us a better handle on the limited players. We’ll see if any progress to full.
