The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report for Week 6, and as expected, fullback Kyle Juszczyk will not be playing this Sunday. He missed three straight days of practice with a back injury, and has been formally ruled out for the game.
I am not entirely sure what the plan is now at fullback. The 49ers have an open roster spot now that Bowman has been released. However, considering the 49ers did not sign someone earlier in the week when they first realized Juszczyk was dealing with this issue, it suggests we’ll simply see some adjustments to the offensive game plan.
Eric Reid and Reuben Foster are both listed as questionable after three straight limited practice sessions. It appears we will not find out their status until the 49ers release their Week 6 inactives 90 minutes before Sunday’s game. My guess is both play, but that’s mostly a guess at this point.
