NFL: Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers are back at home in Week 7, once again looking to get win No. 1 on the season. They host the Dallas Cowboys on a day in which they will honor Dwight Clark. The legendary 49ers wide receiver is suffering from ALS, and the team is helping to raise money for ALS research, while honoring Clark and the 1981 San Francisco 49ers. It’s oh so fitting to honor the man behind The Catch on a day in which the Cowboys will be in town.

The 49ers are 0-6, but 4-2 against the spread. They have lost five straight games by a field goal or less, setting a new NFL record. That streak has included the Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals, Colts, and Washington. That’s a mix of some quality opponents and some bad football teams.

We took a look around some media, and while most people are picking the Cowboys to win, we’re starting to see more people thinking the 49ers cover the spread against Dallas. Will they continue their streak of close losses, finally snag a win, or face a blowout loss?
