Good morning folks. Today, the San Francisco 49ers play the Dallas Cowboys as they try and avoid an 0-7 hole. I don’t know how likely it is they get out of that hole, but this is one game I absolutely want them to win. As you probably know, I don’t ever root for losses for draft picks, but the draft positioning is at least usually a balm to soothe things over after the loss.
Not so with the Cowboys. I want the 49ers to beat them and I want it bad. I don’t think we’ll get it, because I think Dak Prescott is an impressive young quarterback who will only continue to improve, and the Cowboys have enough going on defensively to give C.J. Beathard fits.
I honestly don’t know what to expect out of Beathard at this point. I hope he plays well, but nothing would surprise me. I hope he can stick it to the Cowboys, at the very least. Let’s get to your links for the day.
