The San Francisco 49ers returned to practice on Wednesday, and they have some notable players showing up on the injury report. The DNPs are particularly important. Brandon Fusco, Trenton Brown, and Joe Staley all missed practice. Staley’s is not listed as a veteran’s day off, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was somewhat that. Staley did not leave Sunday’s game, while Fusco and Brown did.
Both Fusco and Brown would seem questionable at this point, which could mean Zane Beadles and Garry Gilliam will play on Sunday. Erik Magnuson could also end up active if Fusco is inactive.
Reuben Foster was back at practice after suffering a rib injury on Sunday. The x-rays came up negative for a fracture, so it is likely just a matter of him resting them and getting ready for Sunday.
