Pierre Garçon posts picture of overnight envelope with fine information from NFL

We are a day away from the start of Week 5 of the 2017 NFL season, and that means players are learning about Week 4 fines. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Pierre Garçon posted on Snapchat that he was fined this week. He posted an initial message, and then a picture of the NFL’s overnight delivery of the fine information.

We’re still waiting on word of what led to the fine. Players will meet with the media Wednesday afternoon following Kyle Shanahan’s press conference, so I imagine we’ll get some answers then. I do not see any penalties against Garçon from the game play-by-play. It could be a play that did not go penalized, or it could be a uniform violation. We’ll see what comes of it.
