49ers-Colts injury report: Marquise Goodwin progressing through concussion protocol

We have the full Thursday practice participation report

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers held their second practice of the week, and it would appear wide receiver Marquise Goodwin is making progress through the concussion protocol. Goodwin suffered a concussion on Sunday, which was his fourth in 14 months. He was in a non-contact jersey on Wednesday and listed as limited. On Thursday, he was not wearing the non-contact jersey, according to Chris Biderman. The 49ers again listed him as limited.

The 49ers will wrap up practice on Friday, and Goodwin will likely be listed as questionable. If he does not have any symptoms heading into Sunday, he will almost assuredly play against the Indianapolis Colts.

That likely means Victor Bolden will go back to exclusively special teams, and could mean less work for Aldrick Robinson. After Goodwin went down on Sunday, Robinson ended up the most targeted of Brian Hoyer’s receivers. They struggled at times with their connection, so we’ll see if that changes on Sunday.
