The NFL closes out the Week 5 Sunday schedule with another primetime game featuring Alex Smith on Sunday Night Football. The Houston Texans host the Kansas City Chiefs, a team looking for its fifth win the year. The game kicks off on NBC at 5:30 p.m. PT with Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya on the call.

Kanas City opened as 3.5-point favorites, which is a bit surprising as I expected the line to be a bit wider. It narrowed throughout the week even further, which I suppose means a lot of money was coming in on the game. Either way, I expect the Chiefs to win pretty handily.

I’m very happy to see Smith playing well, to be honest. He’s such a nice guy and he never was treated right in San Francisco. This year, he’s completed 76.0 percent of his passes for 1,067 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions. I don’t expect him to throw his first one tonight.

Below is all you need to know to watch the action on Sunday, and this will serve as our game thread for SNF.
