San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Brown was listed as a full participant at team practice on Wednesday. Brown is the team’s starting right tackle, and missed the Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a concussion.
Brown hasn’t completely cleared the NFL concussion protocol, but he did say that he’s symptom-free and a full participation in practice this early in the week is a good sign. I can’t imagine he’s in line to miss the next game, which is good news for whoever happens to be playing quarterback for the 49ers.
Interestingly, Brown lined up at left tackle in lieu of Joe Staley, who is injured.
The 49ers listed linebacker Reuben Foster and running back Matt Breida as limited participants in practice. Safety Eric Reid and linebacker Brock Coyle were both listed as full participants as well.
Quite a few players did not practice, including cornerback K’Waun Williams, a player who Kyle Shanahan said he hoped would be back this coming Sunday. The obvious players were also out, including Staley, Aaron Lynch and Solomon Thomas.
Below is the full participation report from Wednesday.
