The San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants announced their inactives for Week 10, and there are no big surprises. As expected, left tackle Joe Staley is active and will start once again. He suffered an eye injury that looked like it might cost him a few weeks. He missed one game, and returns to book-end the offensive line with right tackle Trent Brown.
Rookie defensive lineman Solomon Thomas will miss his second straight game with an MCL injury. He returned to practice this week, so he could get back after the bye week. Leger Douzable and Tony McDaniel will continue to see more playing time in his absence.
The team will be without rookies George Kittle and Trent Taylor. Both have shown some solid progress as rookies. Kittle is the No. 1 tight end, while Taylor has been very solid as a punt returner.
