The Arizona Cardinals quarterback depth chart took another hit this past week, with Drew Stanton suffering a sprained knee. His status for this Sunday against the Houston Texans is uncertain, but it might be a little more clear now.
The team announced on Monday that they have signed Matt Barkley to the roster. Barkley was a member of the Cardinals in 2015, but was inactive the entire season.
The more this develops, the more I’m looking forward to Blaine Gabbert (and Matt Barkley) vs. Tom Savage (and T.J. Yates) this Sunday.
