The San Francisco 49ers were back at practice on Thursday, and the big question is the offensive line. Right tackle Trent Brown was a full participant for the second straight day, which is a strong indication he will be playing this Sunday. However, right guard Brandon Fusco missed his second straight day of practice with a biceps injury.
Fusco missed Wednesday and Thursday practices last week, but returned for a limited session on Friday, and played on Sunday. He got banged up again last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, but with no backups available, he finished the game. If he practices on Friday, that would be a decent indicator he plays. If he does not though, the 49ers will have some questions. If he joins Joe Staley on the sideline, does Zane Beadles play guard and newly signed Bryce Harris play tackle? Or does Erik Magnuson get a guard start and Beadles plays tackle? Does Trent Brown move to left tackle?
The other notable injury is Pierre Garçon. He has a neck injury that has cost him two straight practices. If he does not play on Sunday, we’ll see more of Aldrick Robinson, and Kendrick Bourne and Victor Bolden could both get some additional work.
