Golden Nuggets: Welcome back from the bye week

San Francisco 49ers links for Monday, November 20, 2017,

Good morning! The San Francisco 49ers bye week is officially a wrap. The players and coaches return to practice on Monday after four days of rest and recovery. The collective bargaining agreement requires players get Thursday through Sunday off during the bye week.

The 49ers first injury report will not arrive until Wednesday, so we will have to wait and see how C.J. Beathard’s thumb is holding up. Beathard suffered a thumb injury when he dove for his touchdown last week. He finished the game with a few handoffs and kneel-downs. He got some rest last week, while Jimmy Garoppolo was getting a lot of work to get further up to speed.

Speaking of Garoppolo, we will find out this week what the plan is for Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. The team will make their starting quarterback available to the media on Wednesday. Prior to the 49ers win over the New York Giants, the 49ers made both quarterbacks available to the media. Maybe we see the same thing this week?

And finally, speaking of the Seahawks, today they face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The Seahawks will be playing without Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, and Cliff Avril. This will be a huge test of just what this defense can do without three key cogs. The Falcons will be without Devonta Freeman for this one.

We don’t have a lot of links today, so feel free to drop in anything NFL related you found interesting.
