The Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons kick off Monday Night Football in just under five hours, and it will start to give us an idea of what Seattle is made of amidst all their injuries. Their defense will be missing Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, and Cliff Avril, and they face a Falcons offense that is still highly productive, even without Kyle Shanahan calling the plays.
Most oddsmakers will not release a line for the San Francisco 49ers Week 12 matchup with the Seahawks until after MNF, but some lines are showing up. Courtesy of our friends at Odds Shark, there are at least six line out there for this Week 12 contest. Sportbet and 5 Dimes have the line at eight points, while the Westgate Superbook and Station Casinos have the line at 6.5 points.
Over the weekend, the look-ahead line at the Westgate had the 49ers considered a potential 8.5-point underdog. That was not the settled line, and as we see with the opening line, it opened two points less. I believe that line changed with the news that Chancellor was going on IR. The 49ers have not yet announced a starting quarterback for Sunday, and I am curious to see if going with Beathard vs. Garoppolo might change the line as well. That coupled with what the Seahawks defense looks like tonight could shape this thing significantly.
