49ers injury report vs. Seahawks: Adrian Colbert is only injury DNP of Wednesday

Here is the full Wednesday practice participation report.

The San Francisco 49ers returned to the practice field on Wednesday, and the injury report was a little more cleaned up compared to prior to the bye week. There was nothing overly unexpected, and while the team is missing 18 players on injured reserve, the rest of the roster is closer to relatively healthy for this late point in the season.

Free safety Adrian Colbert was the only injury DNP, with Elvis Dumervil and Joe Staley getting a veteran’s day off. Kyle Shanahan said it is unlikely Colbert can play this week, with Antone Exum and Dexter McCoil competing for his role this week. Shanahan said Colbert would need to get in a practice session to get on the field on Sunday. My guess is Colbert will be a DNP all week.

George Kittle, Trent Taylor, and Solomon Thomas all got in a limited practice session on Wednesday. Kittle and Taylor were DNPs all of Week 10, so this is an improvement. Thomas was limited prior to the bye, but did not play against the New York Giants. Shanahan thinks all three will play this week, but the training staff will know more by the end of the week.
