Thanksgiving NFL TV schedule, Week 12: Live stream, game time, TV schedule, picks against the spread

The Thanksgiving triple-header is quite the tradition. We’ve got all the details for all three games.

It’s time for some Thanksgiving football! We get the annual triple-header, which is about the only time I can appreciate short week football. Well, when the 49ers are playing too, but ideally, we’d never have any other short week action.

That being said, we’ll appreciate it as we gorge on turkey and all the fixings today. This will serve as our game thread for the day. I’ll create a spill-over thread if this gets too ridiculous, but otherwise, the plan is to leave this up here all day.

We get a matchup of potential playoff teams to get things going at 9:30 a.m. PT. The NFC North leading Minnesota Vikings travel to face the 6-4 Detroit Lions. The Lions are tied with the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons, with the Falcons currently holding the edge for the final playoff spot. The Vikings are a 2.5-point favorite in this game, but I’m going to take the points with the home dog. The Vikings are rolling, but I think they get tripped up here.

The second game features the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Los Angeles Chargers, with kickoff set for 1:30 p.m. The Cowboys are hurting in a big way with Ezekiel Elliott suspended, and numerous injuries on both sides of the ball. The Chargers are 4-6, but suddenly find themselves only two games back of the AFC West leading Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers are a 2.5-point favorite, and I’m going to go with the road win and cover.

The tripleheader wraps up with Washington hosting the New York Giants. Washington is 4-6, and coming off an ugly blown game against New Orleans, while the Giants are playing for draft positioning. It was a potential playoff matchup when the season started, but now is just sort of meh. Washington is a 7.5-point favorite and while I do think they win, I think the Giants cover the spread.
