The San Francisco 49ers are back from their bye week this weekend as they host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. The 49ers returned to practice on Monday, and Friday marks their final open practice of the week. This also closes out media availability for the week.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media Friday afternoon at approximately 1:30 p.m. PT to close out the week. The team practices at 12:15, and his press conference starts shortly after that session wraps. Shanahan already announced C.J. Beathard as the Week 12 starter, so that should open the floor to some non-QB questions. Most notably, we might find out if Tank Carradine will be activated. Shanahan’s press conference will be followed by locker room availability, and then the final injury report for the week.
The 49ers will stream Shanahan’s press conference on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from Shanahan’s session and those of the players. I’ve embedded our 49ers beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. If you don’t see it, click here.
