Golden Nuggets: Post Turkey Leftovers Edition

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Saturday, November 25th, 2017

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

Not sure about you guys, but I have plenty of turkey leftovers to scarf down. My bacon stuffing was amazing and I’m nibbling on my chocolate peanut butter pie as I give you your nuggets.

Oh yeah, the 49ers play this week. Living in Seattle, you cannot imagine the joy I was given watching the 1-2 man lose to the Atlanta Falcons and have their season in jeopardy. I mean, Seattle can’t lose at home right? I’m not sure if the San Francisco 49ers can pull off the upset this week, but if they can, Kyle Shanahan is something special, he has a 1-9 team still playing hard and not giving up. Who can you think of in the last few years that has had the fight and heart the 49ers have had? I can’t think of much. The Cleveland Browns look like they’ve packed things up this year while the 49ers are having a massive party for winning one game after 9 straight losses. This companionship will continue when the 49ers are competive. Bank on it.

The 49ers don’t have much to really play for, but they are gelling as a team and Shanahan has established a culture. That’s what you need to do in a season like this, and that’s always the hardest, sometimes impossible part.
