Trent Brown, Adrian Colbert get in limited practice sessions for 49ers

We break down the 49ers full Wednesday practice participation report.

The San Francisco 49ers got in their first practice of Week 13, and there is some good news to come out of it. The team released their first injury report of the week, and offensive tackle Trent Brown and safety Adrian Colbert were both listed as limited.

Brown was a DNP last Friday and a late scratch for Sunday. Kyle Shanahan said he would not practice today, but he got in a little bit of work. According to Matt Barrows, Brown got in some early non-contact work, but did not take part in full team drills. He likely will still end up a game-time decision.

Colbert was a DNP last week with his broken thumb, but he was practicing in a non-contact jersey, according to Chris Biderman. He was sporting a small cast over the weekend, but this is clearly a step forward for him. It does not guarantee his availability this weekend, but it is an important sign of progress.
