The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report, and there are plenty of notable names that will be absent on Sunday. Wide receiver Pierre Garçon and offensive tackle Garry Gilliam have been ruled out, and will both be formally placed on injured reserve Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Linebacker Reuben Foster is listed as questionable, but barring any unexpected setback, Kyle Shanahan expects him to play this Sunday.
Trent Brown is not listed on the injury report, which suggests he is good to go following his Week 7 concussion. He told David Lombardi he will move to left tackle on Sunday. With Brandon Fusco not listed on the injury report, that likely means we see Zane Beadles playing right tackle. Fusco and Laken Tomlinson will be at right and left guard, respectively, and Daniel Kilgore will start at center.
Nickel back K’Waun Williams will be out once again with a quadricep injury. Leon Hall will be the nickel back in his place. Ahkello Witherspoon and Dontae Johnson will start outside, and for the time being, recently promoted Greg Mabin will be the fourth cornerback.
Out: WR Pierre Garcon (neck), T Garry Gilliam (knee), DT D.J. Jones (knee), DE Aaron Lynch (calf), T Joe Staley (eye), DE Solomon Thomas (knee), CB K'Waun Williams (quadricep)
Questionable: LB Reuben Foster (ribs)
