Week 9 NFL TV schedule: NFC South features the most notable matchup

It’s game day! The San Francisco 49ers don’t get going until 1:05 p.m. PT, but in the meantime, the AM slate includes some intriguing matchups. This will serve as our Week 9 AM game thread.

The most significant game is Falcons-Panthers. It is the only game featuring two teams sitting above .500, with the Falcons at 4-3 and the Panthers at 5-3. Carolina is playing its first game since trading Kelvin Benjamin, so we’ll see what they do with their offense.

The Eagles will look to extend their league-best record against a Broncos squad rolling out Brock Osweiler in place of Trevor Siemian. I am enjoying watching the Broncos flounder with bad quarterbacks, and I would be surprised if anything changes this weekend against a solid Eagles team.

Here’s the full slate of AM games. We’ll be back with 49ers inactives at approximately 11:35 a.m. PT.

Ravens @ Titans - CBS
Buccaneers @ Saints - FOX
