The San Francisco 49ers will not be losing Carlos Hyde to a suspension. There were a handful of fights on Sunday, but no suspensions resulted from the fisticuffs between Hyde, Frostee Rucker, and Haason Reddick.
The only player to get suspended this week is Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, who received a one-game suspension. He shoved Marshon Lattimore at one point to instigate some stuff. I am a little surprised A.J. Green was not suspended a game for grabbing Jalen Ramsey in a choke hold and slamming him to the ground. If you missed that one, here it is.
The 49ers and Cardinals got into some pushing and shoving (video), but it was fairly limited after the first push and shove and punches. The three players were ejected, and the game finished without any incidents. Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch strongly supported their running back in his defense of C.J. Beathard. You can see a photo of Lynch giving Hyde some encouragement.
