The San Francisco 49ers return to the practice field as they continue preparations to face the New York Giants in Week 10. The 49ers dropped to 0-9 this past week, and they have their bye week fast approaching in Week 11. It’s hard for a bad team to overlook anybody, but we’ll see if the 49ers get caught snoozing as their bye week approaches.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media at 12:40 p.m. PT. Following Shanahan’s press conference, the 49ers locker room will be open until 1:30. Normally this would just mean starting quarterback C.J. Beathard meets with the media. This week, Jimmy Garoppolo will also be available. Practice gets going at 1:40, with it open to the media until team drills begin. The first practice participation report will be released later in the afternoon and there are a ton of names to watch for.
The 49ers will stream Shanahan’s press conference on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from Shanahan’s session and those of the players. I’ve embedded our 49ers beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. If you don’t see it, click here.
