The boom box was out in full effect for 49ers-Texans

The 49ers are making it a thing, heading out to the field with a huge boom box.

A month ago, the San Francisco 49ers won their first game of the season, and with it came an intriguing revelation. During the game, sideline reporter Laura Okmin talked about the team having a boombox playing as the players came out for the second half of the game. In the post-game locker room celebration, that same bright red boombox was spotted.

The boom box is most definitely a thing at this point. The team had a red boom box at the Giants game, and on Sunday against the Houston Texans, they had a black one. Matt Maiocco got video of the team coming out to the field, and Nick Kray, administrative assistant to the head coach, walked alongside with the boombox. You can watch video above, and below is a pretty fantastic picture!

It’s a very random thing, but it’s one of those random things that catches my attention and entertains me to no end. I don’t really know why, but I love it!
