The San Francisco 49ers released their first practice participation report of Week 16, and it is a slightly full report. The 49ers have been fairly healthy in recent weeks, all things considered, but it was inevitable the report would get a few more names added.
Some good news from known injuries last week. Adrian Colbert and Aldrick Robinson were both listed as limited on Wednesday. They both are in the concussion protocol, and getting to limited practice on Wednesday means they have made progress. If they finish out the week, barring anything unexpected Saturday or Sunday morning, it bodes well for them playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
DeForest Buckner was a DNP with an ankle injury, while Greg Mabin is still a DNP with his calf injury. Buckner did not appear to have any issues last Sunday, so his status will be one to watch when Thursday’s report arrives. Marquise Goodwin is also lited as a DNP, but it sounds like more because of personal stuff than the back injury that is listed. Again, Thursday’s report will tell us more.
