I’m always a fan of these mic’d up segments, and the latest is a solid one featuring soon to be free agent Eric Reid. The San Francisco 49ers strong safety has been a leader on a defense that has dealt with numerous injuries and lineup changes throughout the season.
In the video, we see Reid working to fire up players on both sides of the ball, and showing some love for some of the younger players making big plays. It’s a fun video, worth a watch.
This Sunday marks the end of the season, and it could mark the end of the road with the 49ers for some pretty notable players. Reid, Carlos Hyde, and Daniel Kilgore are the three most notable players due to hit the market (we don’t count Jimmy Garoppolo!). The 49ers have a lot of safety depth heading into next year, while interior line and running back have their share of questions (the former much more than the latter). Will we see any of these three return next year?
