It is looking seriously like our 49ers will accomplish that five game winning streak to finish off our season. With the Rams resting some of their starters and us having Jimmy G., our guys better put the beating on them.
I know a lot of people are not happy about the Ram’s decision to rest their starters but they have earned that right. The Rams have come a long way from last year. I have to congratulate Sean McVay on a job well done. I can’t wait to beat them next season when they are at full strength. In the meantime, I will be rooting for them in the playoffs.
I am also glad to see Ahkello Witherspoon getting the recognition he deserves in the article below by Matt Barrows. He has worked hard and come a long way. I am proud to say he is from the Sacramento area. Do you remember what Reuben Foster said about Witherspoon in one of his first interviews? Something about Witherspoon being so cool he had ice in his veins?
Can you imagine what it is going to be like having Reuben Foster, Solomon Thomas, and Ahkello Witherspoon returning next season, not to mention Adrian Colbert. Having an offseason to work on themselves and a second training camp should elevate their games even more than what we have seen the past few weeks. We should have a very good defense if we can find another outside corner.
