No players on 49ers final injury report

This is a first!

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at San Francisco 49ers Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up their final practice of the 2017 season Friday morning. The team heads south to face the Los Angeles Rams, heading into the offseason after Sunday’s game.

The 49ers have an extensive list of players on injured reserve, but for this week, they will have nobody on their final injury report. Their list of limited participants still includes tight end Garrett Celek, free safety Adrian Colbert, and wide receivers Marquise Goodwin and Trent Taylor. However, with the probable designation no longer available, nobody is on the final injury report.

There are plenty of bumps and bruises to go around for players, and soreness is most definitely a thing for plenty of players on the roster. But it’s rare that you see an injury report entirely empty for a game. And really, that is one of the reasons we are seeing such strong performances from the 49ers. Jimmy Garoppolo has been huge for the 49ers turnaround, but staying relatively healthy the past month is notable as well.
