Plenty of draft pick and playoff implications in Week 13 afternoon schedule

New, comments

The San Francisco 49ers game is a wrap. We’ll have plenty more on it, but in the meantime, we have plenty to watch in the afternoon set. We’ve got two games that are critical in the draft pick watch, and all four impact the playoff race.

The Browns travel to face the Chargers, and the Giants travel to face the Raiders. We’re rooting for Cleveland and New York to win, and it’s safe to say Chiefs fans are as well. Oakland and LA are breathing down Kansas City’s neck in the AFC West, and both will get a crack at KC the next two weeks.

The Panthers and Saints follows Atlanta vs. Minnesota as a huge matchup of the day. Carolina and New Orleans are tied for first in the NFC South. The Saints won in Carolina already, so they could lock up the tiebreaker with a win today. Meanwhile, the Rams will look to boost their divisional record and remain in front of Seattle, who is hosting Philadelphia tonight. The Rams are 8-3 but the 7-4 Seahawks have the head-to-head tiebreaker.
