The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice on Wednesday, as they continue their preparations for a Week 14 road game against the Houston Texans. The 49ers are coming off a win over the Chicago Bears in Jimmy Garoppolo’s starting debut, and will look to secure a third win in four games.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media at 12:40 p.m. PT, and I don’t imagine it to be a particularly dramatic press conference. A week ago, Shanahan named Jimmy Garoppolo the starting quarterback, and it is safe to say he will stick with Garoppolo in Week 14. Once Shanahan wraps up his press conference, Garoppolo will meet with the media. Practice gets going at 1:40, with it open to the media until team drills begin. The first practice participation report will be released later in the afternoon.
The 49ers will stream Shanahan’s press conference on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from Shanahan’s session and those of the players. I’ve embedded our 49ers beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. If you don’t see it, click here.
