49ers Week 14 injury report off to a good start

Here’s the 49ers first practice participation report of the week.

The San Francisco 49ers released their first practice participation report of Week 14, and it is generally pretty good news. Right tackle Trent Brown is the only player to sit out practice. He appeared to be wearing a protective sling on Sunday to deal with the shoulder injury that has been hampering him. If he is upgraded to limited on Thursday, things will look better.

Adrian Colbert is continuing to wear the non-contact jersey. He fractured his thumb in Week 10, and following the 49ers Week 11 bye, he missed the team’s Week 13 game against Seattle. He was back last week, and looked to be in good shape. More than likely they are simply being cautious in practice so that nothing stupid happens.

Other than that, things are looking good. The team has a ton of players on IR, but for the players still on the 53-man roster, things are trending well. Plenty likely are dealing with soreness and bumps and bruises, but for the most part, they’re good to go.
