49ers-Texans injury report: Trent Brown back at practice

Here is the 49ers full practice participation report for Thursday.

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers released their second practice participation report of the week, and as expected, right tackle Trent Brown was upgraded from DNP to limited. Brown is still getting over a shoulder injury that kept him out of the 49ers Week 12 matchup with Seattle. He returned to face Chicago last week, and it sounds like he has a good shot of playing this weekend against Houston.

Other than that, the team seems to be in relatively good shape health-wise. Adrian Colbert is still limited in workouts, wearing a non-contact jersey. He played last week, and should be good to go to play this weekend in Houston.

I do find it interesting that DeForest Buckner has moved into the group getting a veteran’s day off during the week. He is in only his second year, but he has quickly established himself as a presence.

DNP: DT DeForest Buckner (not injury related – vet day), DT Earl Mitchell (not injury related – vet day)

Limited: T Trenton Brown (shoulder), S Adrian Colbert (thumb)

Full: DE Elvis Dumervil (not injury related), S Eric Reid (knee), T Joe Staley (not injury related)
