Golden Nuggets: Looking good so far

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Saturday, February 11th 2017

Well, given all my skepticism for John Lynch and possibly Kyle Shanahan, I can say at this point: those two won the week. Yes, the dark cloud of the Yorks still hangs over this entire front office, but I haven’t felt this hopeful for the team since Jim Harbaugh took over. It just feels right. With Jim Tomsula, I was forcing myself it was a good hire. Chip Kelly? I guess it was a good move (I was too sour on Tomsula). Kyle Shanahan, just wow. Said the right things, has the right things in mind, and John Lynch seems to say the right things.

That means now we have to see it in action. I’ve seen press conferences won before, I need to see if they can put their money where their mouth is. Temper expectations, we have a year or two before we can even sniff the playoffs. I think Shanahan knows what he’s doing. His coaching staff isn’t too splashy, but he definitely was a great hire.

Plus we have a west coast offense again. Here’s your links.
