Complete list of 49ers draft picks for the 2017 NFL Draft

The 49ers have 11 draft picks following the awarding of one comp pick. Here’s the complete list.

Fooch’s update: I have since learned the 49ers have 10 not 11 picks. They had to send their 7th round pick to Washington because Derek Carrier did not meet a performance benchmark.

The San Francisco 49ers were awarded a fourth round compensatory pick on Friday, which brings their total picks to 11. The team holds their own seven picks and the comp pick. They also have Washington’s fifth round pick from the Derek Carrier trade, the Denver Broncos sixth round pick from the Vernon Davis trade, and the Cleveland Browns seventh round pick from the Andy Lee trade.

Teams can trade compensatory picks for the first time, which might make for a little more trading than normal. In the past, it seems like comp picks have often been used for project players, or players dealing with medical issues. They have not been the only such picks, but inability to trade them seemingly impacted strategy to some extent. Now, teams can deal them, which should add to the draft day intrigue.
