Super Bowl 51 is officially a wrap, and while the San Francisco 49ers do not have their head coach formally hired, you can still bet on them for Super Bowl 52. Sportsbooks are starting to reveal their odds for the 2018 Super Bowl, and it is no surprise the 49ers are way down the list.
Some preliminary odds two weeks ago from William Hill had them at 200/1, just ahead of the Cleveland Browns. The Westgate SuperBook released their Super Bowl 52 odds, and they have the 49ers and Browns way down there at 300/1. The next closest are the New York Jets, Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears at 100/1.
I won’t be putting money on a 49ers future, but there are some interesting ones seven months before the regular season starts back up. The Raiders at 20/1 could be a good one if Derek Carr can stay healthy next year. If I were to look at the longer shots, Washington at 40/1 could be an interesting one, as could the Detroit Lions at 60/1.
