Jeremy Kerley 2017 contract extension details

The San Francisco 49ers extended Jeremy Kerley on a three-year deal.

The San Francisco 49ers have been plenty active in free agency this week, but that was preceded by a handful of moves prior to the new league year. The team signed three outside free agents, and extended one of their own in wide receiver Jeremy Kerley.

When the 49ers re-signed wide receiver Jeremy Kerley last weekend, it was reported as a three-year deal, worth $10.5 million. However, according to OverTheCap.com, the three-year deal is worth $8.4 million, with $2.8 million fully guaranteed at signing. The fully guaranteed money includes a $1.7 million signing bonus, and $1.1 million of his 2017 base salary. He has an additional $700,000 of his 2018 base salary guaranteed for injury now, and fully for that amount on April 1, 2018.

Kerley also has $250,000 per game roster bonuses and $50,000 workout bonuses each year. There is no word on additional incentives that could fall under the not likely to be earned category.

Here is a full rundown of his three-year deal.
