2017 NFL mock draft: What 49ers fans think about the No. 2 pick

We’ve been tracking mock drafts, but now it’s time to see what fans think of the 49ers No. 2 overall pick.

Earlier this week, I put together a post asking people to tell me who they wanted the San Francisco 49ers to select with their first round pick. I said to make the assumption that Myles Garrett went No. 1, and to not factor in a potential trade. A trade is always possible, but to keep it simple in the mock draft context, I wanted to remove them from the equation.

We had 511 total comments, and that resulted in 112 responses. Given the fact that people generally don’t read all the way through an article, I’d call that a success!

Now that we’ve gotten results, I’ve attached a poll at the bottom with every name submitted in the comments. If you submitted “X or Y,” or just said, “one of these guys,” I did not include it. I’ve added an “Other” category in case your choice of player is not included. This will end up getting more results than having people post in the comments.

Who should the 49ers select at No. 2 (assume Garrett gone & no trade)?
