DeShaun Watson fails the Combine hot sauce test

The 49ers should put the other QBs to the test.

The San Francisco 49ers have tough decisions to make at the quarterback position, and the 2017 NFL Combine provides an opportunity to sort through the players. They will meet with them, then check them out at their Pro Day workouts, and finally bring some in for a private visit in Santa Clara.

More than likely the 49ers will be able to figure out a clear distinction between the various prospects. However, if they come down to a tie, we might be able to come up with some tiebreakers for them. The first comes courtesy of NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport. He tweeted video of Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson trying some hot shrimp cocktail sauce. From the video, it appears the spiciness caught Watson off-guard.

The 49ers met with quarterback DeShone Kizer earlier this week, and will meet with DeShaun Watson, Patrick Mahomes, and Mitch Trubisky Friday evening. They will likely meet with and evaluate other quarterbacks over the next two months, but these four are the most likely to go in the first round. Maybe the 49ers should use a hot sauce challenge to separate them out!
