Fooch’s update: John Lynch commented on Garrett’s Pro Day:
"Well, I thought it was impressive. Here’s this kid who doesn’t really need to show everyone much more, but yet he shows up and runs a 40. I think it just speaks to the kind of kid he is. It was impressive. Look, it’s well-documented, I’m not saying anything ground-breaking, he’s a special athlete ... he is a very good kid ... He checks all the boxes. That’s why people are talking about him in the way they are."

The San Francisco 49ers and every other NFL team were on hand for the Texas A&M Pro Day on Thursday. The Aggies have several players likely to be drafted, but pass rusher Myles Garrett was the big name on display. He is the presumptive No. 1 overall pick, but he still decided to put in a workout with the other prospects.
After the workout, Garrett met with the media and said he has visits coming up with the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears, according to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson. Garrett already had a private workout with the Cleveland Browns, and an official visit is expected as well, according to Dawgs By Nature.
At this point, the odds of Garrett slipping out of the No. 1 slot seem virtually non-existent. The Browns will likely address the quarterback position in the 2017 NFL Draft, but it seems more likely that they will do that with the No. 12 overall pick. I would bet on the Browns trading the No. 1 pick before I would bet on them keeping it and not selecting Garrett.
That being said, teams right behind them are still going to do their due diligence in hopes the Browns are the Browns and figure out a way to screw this up. I doubt they will, but a little hope is always welcome!
